About The DWA
The DWA was founded in September 2013, by Lisa Tenzin-Dolma, Principal of The International School for Canine Psychology Ltd (The ISCP).
We are a small non-profit organisation, currently run by Freya Locke and daughter Ellie-Mai Locke, who came across Lisa, The DWA and The ISCP in 2017 and fell in love with the force-free, reward based ethos that Lisa actively teaches and encourages in all her students.
The DWA is open to all who are interested in animal welfare and reward-focused dog training: the general public; trainers and behaviourists who use only positive, compassionate methods with dogs; rescue shelters; and organisations and governing bodies involved with dog laws, protection, and teaching.
Our members aim to promote only reward based training methods, while raising funds for dogs in need across the UK and the world.
